My son is such a little sweetie…and a big time wimp. He is a very sensitive little guy. Noises easily startle him. He is getting better as he gets older. When he was very young, he’d cry inconsolably if I so much as sneezed! It was awful. Still at 7 months old, I feel like I can’t vacuum or run the food processor without him getting scared and crying. So, I was really excited to try Baby Banz Earmuffs with him.
He wasn’t sure what to think of them at first.
I’ve been getting him to warm up to them by acting like they are a fun toy and that it is a fun game to wear them. He’s coming around. I thought it might help if he saw me wear them, so I tried them on too. I wasn’t worried about stretching them out because I have a tiny head and his is off the charts large. I’m glad that I tried them because it gave me a sense of how much noise they really do block out. I could still hear sounds but they were greatly muffled. And I think if he couldn’t hear anything, it would totally freak him out.
I was hoping that, with these earmuffs, I’d be able to wear him while vacuuming or mowing the lawn. But, they’d also be great if you plan to take your little one to see live music, or to watch fireworks.
Plus, enter for your chance to win a pair of earmuffs. All entries are optional, but the more you do the greater your chances of winning are.
